Passengers travelling between Norwich and Cambridge suffered the worst punctuality in the region in February as one in five trains arrived late.
Greater Anglia passengers have become significantly less satisfied with their journeys over the last 12 months according to new figures from the rail watchdog Transport Focus.
Overnight test runs between Norwich, Diss and Great Yarmouth are set to be carried out by two of Greater Anglia's new trains.
Sky-high fares, an unreliable service, and cheaper alternative transport options are all being blamed for a significant drop in rail passengers in Great Yarmouth over the last five years.
Buses will replace trains on transport routes across Norfolk today (Sunday).
