A five-week course for babies under one year is starting on Tuesday, February 19 from 1.15 to 2.45pm at Eye Bowls Club in Brome Avenue. Instructor Alison Hayhoe, a midwife nurse and mother of two, trained under the accredited International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM).

The cost of the course is £38 including massage oil, handouts, refreshments and a certificate of completion. One-to-one sessions can also be arranged at home.

Booking is essential and for more information call Alison on 01449 770385 or mobile 07939 819401 or email ali@rhayhoe.freeserve.co.uk

Mothers attending a pre-Christmas course at Eye all said how much they and their babies had benefitted from the sessions. Apart from learning the techniques they had welcomed the social and relaxed atmosphere in warm and comfortable surroundings and the babies enjoyed it too.
