Some of the region’s best folk musicians will be performing at a South Norfolk pub as part of the inaugural Burston with Folk.
The new free festival, taking place on May 26, is joint production from the Burston Crown pub and the Waveney Valley Folk Collective.
Peter Arnold, from the folk collective and owner of Diss Music Hub music school, said: "Our folk collective had its roots in The Burston Crown, so it is absolutely fitting that we return to work together to provide this showcase of amazing folk talents from our region.
"The fact that folk musicians will be playing in the garden of a pub that was here when Shakespeare was alive, and Will Kemp was dancing to Norwich from London just a couple of miles away makes this very special."
Folk fans will be able to listen to 10 different acts between 1pm and 11pm including headliners Suffolk folk and roots duo Honey and the Bear and the John Ward Trio. The event will also raise funds to support the Waveney Valley Food Bank.
