Free help for artists

Free one to one artist advisory sessions are being organised by Mid Suffolk's Arts Service for Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 from 10am - 1pm at the Customer Services Direct Centre in Stowmarket.

Free one to one artist advisory sessions are being organised by Mid Suffolk's Arts Service for Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15 from 10am - 1pm at the Customer Services Direct Centre in Stowmarket.

'These sessions are designed to cover any aspect of an artists career, practice or work' said Zoey Furzer, arts officer for Mid Suffolk District Council, ' the advisor is able to offer friendly, relevant and up-to-date advice and guidance which can prove invaluable for many artists and craftspeople'.

These sessions are open to Mid Suffolk-based visual artists and crafts people and will be led by painter and sculptor Pam Winbolt. Pam has exhibited her work widely, including exhibitions in France, Germany and America. She spent four years with an artist-run gallery in London and was involved in the running of the gallery and the galleries co-ordinator for outside exhibitions as well as the Affordable Art Fair.
