Diss Film Society at The Park Hotel is showing the James Stewart classic The Philadelphia Story (PG) on Monday at 8pm.

Katherine Hepburn plays an uptight socialite about to be remarried, when her ex-husband (Cary Grant) arrives at her mansion with a tabloid reporter, the relatively unknown James Stewart.

Impeccable direction, a script stuffed with sharp wit and delicious acting and timing make George Cukor's Oscar winning comedy one of the all-time film favourites.
